About
Hi, I'm Pieter.
This website serves mostly as my portfolio — an effort to show my work outside of the Meta-sphere. As an artist I sign my work as Peen.
I'm a middle-aged busy bee with a very diverse career and a never-ending drive to learn new things:
- I was an expert in soil remediation (it's an art, really)
- I did projects in mobility and parking (including a new parking building)
- I was involved in policy and planning (both mobility & environment)
- I did some crisis coordination (both structural and pollution)
- I do understand how tenders work (and when to refer to a lawyer)
- I managed a €900k+ audio-video install in a new office environment, including a nice theatre, a meeting-room booking system, …
- I matched building automation to user experience
- I switched to an ICT-coordination role in HR, learning about HRIS, recruiting, payroll, …
- I gave workshops to improve business processes & define goals
- I play the piano, a bit of bass, …
- I paint
- I renovated my home
- I design & 3D-print
- I programmed a few devices
- I learned to play improv comedy
- I cook quite a lot
- (…)
All of that comes in handy when I think along with you, or make something for you.
